Here’s the latest update on our efforts to keep people connected who are impacted by the California wildfires ⤵️ Emergency crews on the ground Over 100 T-Mobile emergency crew members including field engineers and technicians are working around the clock to restore service in impacted areas. We are staging and using: 🔘 SatCOLTs and SatCOWs: Mobile cell sites to restore or boost service in affected areas. 🔘 VSATs: Portable satellite dishes for quick, temporary wireless coverage. 🔘 Microwave solutions: High-speed, low-latency network tech for better data usage. 🔘 Portable generators: Quick power setups for sites and customers. 🔘 Permanent generators and batteries: Reliable power at key sites like cell towers and data centers.
