Europe just approved the world's first #AI rulebook, set to roll out by May or June to make sure AI plays nice and doesn't cause harm. #Highrisk AI, like in medical devices, faces extra #scrutiny, while banned uses include social scoring systems and #invasive police face scans. The law even covers advanced AI models like OpenAI's #GPT4, requiring #developers to share #trainingdata details and follow #copyright rules. EU's watchdogs, country-specific AI enforcers, will ensure #compliance. Violations could mean fines of up to $38 million or 7% of global revenue. This move sets a #global example, with the US and other countries eyeing similar rulebooks. #headlyglobal #euaiact #airegulation #technews #digitalethics
