Taaleri Energia’s Post

Powering Up: Our first battery energy storage facility begins operations🔋 Taaleri Energia's first battery energy storage system investment, Paistinkulma, has entered the operational phase. Located in Lempäälä, in Finland, the facility has a capacity of 30 MW / 36 MWh, with the potential for that capacity to be doubled in the future. The facility is one of the largest battery energy storage systems operating in Finland. The facility will help to balance fluctuations between electricity production and consumption on the power grid. The Taaleri SolarWind III Fund’s investment strategy is to acquire, develop, contract, construct, operate and exit a portfolio of utility scale onshore wind farms, photovoltaic solar parks and battery storage assets across the Fund’s target markets – the Nordics & Baltics, Poland, Southeast Europe, Spain and Texas. #TaaleriEnergia #RenewableEnergy #BESS
