⚡Powering Up: Our first battery energy storage facility begins operations⚡ 🔋 Taaleri Energia's first battery energy storage system investment, Paistinkulma, has entered the operational phase. Located in Lempäälä, in Finland, the facility has a capacity of 30 MW / 36 MWh, with the potential for that capacity to be doubled in the future. The facility is one of the largest battery energy storage systems operating in Finland. The facility will help to balance fluctuations between electricity production and consumption on the power grid. The Taaleri SolarWind III Fund’s investment strategy is to acquire, develop, contract, construct, operate and exit a portfolio of utility scale onshore wind farms, photovoltaic solar parks and battery storage assets across the Fund’s target markets – the Nordics & Baltics, Poland, Southeast Europe, Spain and Texas. #Taaleri #TaaleriEnergia #RenewableEnergy #BESS

#IndustryNews Citicore Renewable Energy Corporation (CREC), in partnership with Singapore-based Levanta, aims to achieve energization of its four onshore wind projects in Luzon (Camarines Sur, Pangasinan, and Bataan) and the Visayas, with a total capacity of 375 MW, by the end of 2026. CREC President and CEO Oliver Tan mentioned they plan to invest significant amounts—"many zeroes"—to expand their wind energy portfolio. This expansion is intended to complement their solar and energy storage systems, with the ultimate goal of creating a baseload powered entirely by renewable energy. As for fundraising, CREC is considering increasing its public float after the lockup period ends on December 7. FORECAST: Increase in financings for renewable projects in Peru   Peruvian Congress approved a new Law that will allow power distribution companies to tender purchases of energy in blocks, separating capacity from energy.   What does this mean and why is it interesting for us involved in financing energy projects/companies? … now wind and/or photovoltaic power generators will be able to enter into PPAs directly with power distribution companies through these tenders, greatly expanding the market and giving renewable energy generators greater alternatives to develop and make their projects bankable.   Conclusion: an increase in competition on supply side for energy to cover distribution companies demand will increase financings for renewables in Peru.   #energy #power #renewables #peru #energyprojectfinance 

The Philippines has broken ground on the world’s largest integrated solar and battery storage facility — the MTerra Solar Project.  With a staggering 3,500 MW of solar power and 4,500 MWh of energy storage, this project aims to power 2.4 million homes by 2027, setting a global benchmark in clean energy.
