Marketers: get pitched by your salespeople. As our global sales force took turns to present our newest material at our annual kick-off, I couldn’t help but feel a bit star-struck. And I wasn’t the only one – everyone around the table was leaning forward. As a marketer, I’m in awe of anyone who can capture attention and deliver a message smoothly in person. Most importantly, my team came away from the experience with a stack of notes on improvements to our messaging, decks, and #storytelling. I can’t stress enough how important it has been for us to see our material pitched back at us. #Marketing and #sales alignment is in the air… and it feels good!
