There's no 'i' in team, but there is in Tag-iversary! That’s why we celebrate the milestones of our people who have helped shape Tag through the years. Maribeth Burton began her journey at Tag Americas exactly five years ago today! When reflecting on her time with Tag, Maribeth shares what she loves about her job, “Because Tag is a multifaceted marketing company with a diverse client list, my days are never boring. I love the ever-changing landscape of my work!”   A few years ago, Maribeth faced a health challenge, which over time has become a career highlight for her. “Tag fully supported me through that difficult time; I was able to focus on my health without fear of losing my job. I recovered and returned to my work and have been able to continue growing within the company. I’m so very thankful.” Because Maribeth works remotely, she understands the challenges other remote colleagues might face. “Staying connected is important—Microsoft Teams is a great way to communicate—and not just about work. It’s important we have those virtual ‘water cooler chats’ and check in on people you work with.” And how does she break up her day? “Taking care of yourself is so important—be sure to drink lots of water and don’t skip a meal, which is so easy to do if you’re busy at your desk all day. I make it a point to step away from my desk and eat at regular intervals. I also make time to walk outside in the sun for some vitamin D.” For new Tag joiners, Maribeth has this advice: “Be sure to embrace technology… and be intentional about getting to know other people at Tag to learn about what they do and learn more about the company.” Thanks for all you do, Maribeth! He works from the Tag Americas Toronto, Canada location, and shares why he loves working at Tag: “The variety of work is what I love most. I often have a variety of challenges as I work with different teams across the globe. This means that I have an opportunity to gain an understanding of the industry and develop my problem-solving skills.” Joyel continues why he enjoys Tag, “Of course, for its culture! Tag provides a supportive work environment and flexible schedules to work from home or office which helps to increase output and creativity. On regular intervals, there are different fun activities to participate in. Thirsty Thursdays and delicious delights from our Test Kitchen are like a cherry on the cake.” As a hybrid worker, he shares how he breaks up his day when working virtually. “I start my day with a light workout from the comfort of my small home gym. I also take lunch and coffee breaks away from my desk. When I get an opportunity, I go for a short walk. Music is the best tool to unwind; I often listen to light music in the background when not in meetings or calls.” When asked what advice he would give new Tag employees, Joyel says, “Observe your surroundings and ask a lot of questions, as asking questions ensures clarity of expectation and it accelerates the learning process. This week marks my 4th anniversary at Okarno. My team and those I've worked with previously will know I'm a bit of a reflector so what a perfect opportunity to look back at the achievements of the team and all our colleagues during this time. At my first company briefing a shared my 4 priorities; - To make sure everyone stays safe, every day - Support everyone to achieve their goals - Grow the business sustainably - Create a collaborative, challenging and enjoyable place to work None of this is complicated and it's something I've not deviated from which I believe is why we've been able to deliver so effectively as a business to date and have great plans for the future too. It's fair to say my 90 day plan didn't account for Covid and the impact that would have on us. It did though allow the teams to demonstrate how amazing they are by implementing new safe working practises enabling us to get back to servicing our customers as fast as we could, revising risk assessments, effective communication and protecting the health and wellbeing of one another. Since then the team, everyone that works at Okarno have achieved so much. Our business continues to grow through customer acquisition and product offering. Customer NPS tells us that we're on the right track and we continue to listen and respond to what we hear. We are ahead of plan in relation to our carbon footprint goals and the work we are doing across scopes 1, 2 and 3. I work in a business where everyone has the opportunity to share their views and ideas, we challenge one another to be better, to develop and grow and we support those that want to progress their career. Our recent internal survey reported a really positive employee NPS and a high level of engagement felt throughout the organisation. We've worked with some great people and organisations along the way too, all helping us become that little bit better; Mildon, Start Inspiring, YouSayTomato, Anna Slocombe, Manny Ajala We've positioned ourselves to push on again under the new company name and with the support of Group into new and exciting areas with the plans in place to see us do more together as I get stuck into year 5 and beyond... #therearenootherslikeus

Four weeks in at Pendo, and I'm already loving it. The people here are what truly make Pendo special. Everyone is SO passionate about what they do, it's truly inspiring. The company culture is unlike anything I've ever experienced - full of energy, collaboration, and a genuine desire to see everyone win. 💭 Here are some thoughts: 🌟 Starting fresh is a learning experience! 🤝 Collaboration is key! While some wait for year-end reflections, I will write mine to celebrate my work anniversary. 😁 Early days 👈 : ➖ Started working at TechPods back in April 2021, when we were around 20 people ➖ Didn't know a thing about technology and hadn't performed a single interview for an IT role Professional Growth (for the past year) 👈 : ➖ Had the chance to work on the breadth of my knowledge ➖ The team entrusted me with leading a meeting with the direction of engineering ⚙ and engineering managers for a brand-new partner all by myself  ➖ Started working more closely with our engineers and developed several procedures to optimize and improve our hiring process ➖ Made myself a promise to hire at least 15 people until my next work anniversary and exceeded it by 27%, which led to scaling the team to 73 people now  ➖ Started collaborating with the operations team on organizing more internal initiatives To conclude, I'm confident I'm in the right environment because our culture fosters open feedback and accountability. It's great to be part of a community that continuously challenges you to excel and values your input. 🙏 P.S.
