The 2024 International Symposium on Economic Crime brings together global experts to discuss emerging challenges and strategies in economic crime. TAG International will be participating in the 2024 Symposium with Matilda Martin, one of TAG’s Directors, sharing insights on the role and influence of serious and organised crime on political finance, corruption and democracy. The symposium will underscore the importance of adaptive, evidence-based approaches to address evolving security and governance issues. We look forward to all the participants' valuable contributions at the event and to continuing our work in strengthening global security, justice, and governance frameworks.

How nice to see Claudia Baez Camargo's article on irrationality and corruption in the top 5 of the Corruption in Fragile States blog for 2023. So: Even if we understand that corruption is wrong, our social environment might lead us to behave in corrupt ways. See Claudia's article for how that works in practice and why anti-corruption practitioners should take note. And while you're there, read the other top 5 contributions by Cheyanne Scharbatke-Church, Diana Chigas, Michael Johnston and Riccardo D'Emidio (he/him/his) 👇
