Really intrigued by the capabilities of Apple's entry into mixed reality computing, because it seems so well executed. But despite the "Pro" in the name (and price), there was little focus upon launch, on professional applications. And this is where I think it has the most interesting potential. Can the #applevisionpro provide valuable user experiences for certain professional use cases, or is it a solution looking for a problem? Is it a credible work tool or just an expensive toy? Our Apple Vision Pro REVIEW is here! This feels like the future of computing but there’s some drawbacks, too. Here’s the pros and cons you need to know👇

Have you had the opportunity to try Apple Vision Pro yet? If so, what did you think, and how would you use it? AVP is certainly an impressive piece of technology, however the current form factor may not be sufficiently minimalist to gain the wider adoption needed for mainstream acceptance. That said, it’s not that different in form factor from other AR/VR products that do have their own accepted place in the market. As we observe the transitions and evolution around VR/AR/aR/MR/SpacialComp, it seems reasonable that in order to push towards mainstream acceptance there will be a cat & mouse game played between H/W and S/W. Which is the chicken and which is the egg!? AVP has its uses today, and I suspect that those will grow similarly to how Watch adoption grew as its benefits and applicable use cases evolved. One of the upcoming use cases that I think we’ll see increasingly over time, is the ability to interact with costly physical equipment without needling to own it or be present with it. It may be somewhat experimental/developmental today, but I think that’s actually pretty exciting!
