Revolutionizing PSV Management: Inline X secures agreement with Chevron Inline X is proud to announce a significant agreement with Chevron Australia, consolidating Inline X’s leadership in delivering smart testing of pressure safety valves (PSVs).  Inline X will initially provide its innovative technology for in-situ PSV testing to Chevron's Wheatstone LNG. A loading line in Asia Pacific, connected to a PLEM (pipeline end manifold), was shut down despite several inspections and various repair works being carried out for fear of #integrityrisks. To extend the service life of the loading line, the customer initiated a modification of the existing PLEM. 🔨 THOR can not only help increase the production level of your heavy oil well and add to the recoverable reserve profile of the play, the technology is also friendly towards ancillary equipment – including pumps. PLEXUS HOLDINGS PLC (AIM:POS) has announced the successful completion of a customer-sponsored R&D project for its bespoke HG-R tubing hanger neck seal. The company told investors that the latest development aims to revolutionise the maintenance of surface production wellheads as it can combat the common failures of conventional seals used in the oil and gas industry. Plexus explained that the HG-R technology has been designed to address a key challenge facing oil and gas production operators, namely, the systemic failure of conventional annular seals – which fail over time due to pressure and temperature-induced interface movement (known in the industry as ‘fretting’). Most conventional wellhead annular and neck seals will at some point fail, Plexus said whilst highlighting the associated safety and environmental concerns. Last year, a Middle East operator faced corroded and leaking casing at 6,860-6,905 ft in their 9-5/8” 47# casing, disrupting production. The ReLine DL 7-5/8” expandable casing patch system was selected to remediate the issue. This solution was deployed within the compromised area, providing effective isolation while maximizing post-expansion ID for optimal flow. Following thorough planning, the system was successfully deployed, safely isolating the damaged section and enabled the operator to resume production, reduce losses, and improve overall recovery from the asset.
