Auto-processing my resume is only initially helpful. There are often errors in the submission that require me to go back and resubmit the document. This results in me completing an entire application, tailoring all responses, and then watching all of my work be deleted because the system had an error processing my PDF the first time. Really true. Actually it is very important that how are we build a scalable and maintainable software. So understanding of every basic aspects of software engineering is important to become a very good software engineer. Not strict to learn a particular language or framework.

Opportunities

Your scale-up won’t grow because you only have programmers. Programmers are not software engineers. Software engineers don’t program computers. They write stories about how things move and change. Stories that computers understand. And more importantly, stories that other software engineers understand. If that second component is missing, your software product will die and rot, rather sooner than later. Having onboard someone who understands this is obviously lifesaving for a business. But if there’s no one like that in the team, hiring a consultant is a valid way of saving your money and your business in the long run.

Hiring managers need to understand this. :) Giving people to solve super complicated specific tasks, in tools they didn't necessarily touch, because there's 10+ tools for the same thing usually, or algorithms they would regardless Google in their work time, because why remember by heart information you can Google at any point, and not actually employing them for their architectual logic of how to design the API properly, APP, entire platform flow, or for a specific use case, scale the project, write clean code, is where it all falls apart... :)
