Let me share 3 key points from a recent experience I had with Thesis that really struck a chord with me and have won me over.
I don't know who Mish is, but 100% kudos and 5 stars. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
(Context)
Due to my current circumstances and lack of income, I'm cutting back on many monthly expenses. Unfortunately, my nootropics from Thesis weren't immune (but I plan to renew once my situation improves). 🤞
I thought I had previously canceled my subscription and so was surprised to see the monthly charge and shipment notification.
I emailed their support team, explained the situation and WHY I needed help. I requested a refund and said I'd be happy to return the box.
Mish went all-out with the reply and if someone reading this knows who Mish is, please thank them for me, in addition to my emailed gratitude.
(my commentary is in parentheses)
1. The email starts with an enthusiastic, heartfelt expression of optimistic hope that I will find a new opportunity soon, "...one filled with growth potential, that you'll be excited and fulfilled by. ❤️"
(It felt REALLY good to have a complete stranger share such kind and encouraging words.)
2. The 2nd line/paragraph: "Please let this be one less thing to worry about - I went ahead and deactivated your subscription so that no future orders will be processed (*sigh...* that's taken care of...) and you are able to reactivate your subscription at any time..." (That's good I won't have to start all over!)
(but wait, there's more...)
3. Mish already did the job and went the extra mile. But then this...
"About the recent refill, I'll make a one-time exception for you and process a full refund. (😲😊) It should be credited back to your account in the next 3-7 business days. No need to return the box, you can keep it as a present from us! (🤯🎁)"
Ladies and Gentlemen, if that wasn't more than sufficient, Mish closes the email with this...
"Let me know if you want to explore another option down the line, I've got your back!" (insert gif of person overwhelmed with gratitude and starts to tear up)
Thesis, you've found a gem in Mish and they deserve recognition and kudos. Well done and thank you! I look forward to being able to reactivate my subscription, hopefully very soon.
Keith, out! 👋
