7 not-so-secret, but totally awesome signals to reference in your cold outreach emails 🚀 − Company is hiring for a new role (someone's got room for growth... and your services) − They recently got funding (Yay! Time to invest in what you offer) − Found gaps in their tech stack? (let them know) − Your prospect changed companies (new beginnings, new needs) − They visited your website (you caught them peeking!) − Engaged with a LinkedIn post (yours or a competitor's; attention is attention) − Left a review on G2 (they're vocal online; maybe they'll chat with you, too) https://lnkd.in/efm9x6SU

I make writing cold emails easy for entrepreneurs and sales teams 🚀 Growth @ Woodpecker | Consultant
"I saw...", "I noticed...", "My name is..." - cold email words that scream "SPAM!" Don’t trigger prospects' Mental Spam Filters with a poor choice of words. Do this instead: Think what an average rep would do and do the opposite. Get straight to the point: • Matt - as you're hiring 2 BDRs... • Yurii - your CEO Matt mentioned that... • Arthur - with a multi-national team in 3 countries… • Margaret - in Woodpecker’s annual report expansion to DACH... Subject line + first line of an email = the most important real estate. Approach it strategically. What are your cold email openers? PS. Want to write Cold Emails that start WARM conversations? DM me “COLD” and let's see if we're fit to work together ($). First come, first served.

Here is an ostrich picture. The Concept of "A Players" Who are A Players in IT, and Why Do You Absolutely Need Them? In IT, an A Player is not just someone who can code or manage systems; it's someone who brings exceptional value to every project and challenge. These are the individuals who have a track record of success, think critically and solve problems innovatively, and whose skills are matched by an enthusiasm for technology. But why focus so much on getting these A Players? Because in IT, the pace of change is relentless, and the cost of mistakes can be high. A Players not only keep up but push your company ahead by: Driving Innovation: They’re not just keeping the lights on; they’re finding new ways to turn bright ideas into reality. Enhancing Team Dynamics: Their passion and drive can inspire and elevate the entire team’s performance. Securing Systems and Data: In a world where security breaches can mean disaster, A Players ensure your defenses are robust. Adapting Quickly: IT evolves rapidly. A Players thrive on change and learn quickly, keeping you competitive. With the distinctions in mind and a clear picture of what constitutes an A Player, you're equipped to transform your hiring process from a gamble to a strategic win. #aplayer #hiring #It #softwaredevelopers

SKOs aren’t just fun. They’re an opportunity for revenue teams to unite. To work & learn together. The outcome should make stronger revenue organizations that can accelerate. I was lucky to lead Yuno’s SKO. After some days with the team; they’re building the strongest Enterprise revenue org in global payments. They also happen to be hiring for top enterprise talent 👀 The lessons learned are too long for this post, but if you’re looking for Enterprise Sales oppportunities; don’t sleep on this one!

If you are hiring a service provider, it’s important to know what you’re hiring for. Of course, you are hiring them because THEY are the experts, but ultimately, you should know 'enough to be dangerous.' If you don’t have knowledge of what you’re hiring for, people can and will easily slack off and take advantage of you. Obviously, results speak for themselves, but you can mitigate risk by having the proper basic knowledge.
