Career Educator by hand 💼📝 | Questioner and strategist by mind ⁉️🧠 | Mom, empath, & advocate by heart 👶💓
Have you ever experienced a layoff? If so, you likely know all of the negative emotions that came with it. You also likely know that while it meant the closing of one door, another opened. Unfortunately, two of my students went through this experience last week when their co-op was terminated due to major restructuring within the organization. These two students have handled the situation with an optimism and grace that I would expect of someone far more senior than them. If you and/or your organization are looking to fill a summer position in business analytics, programming, mechanical engineering, automation, robotics, systems integration, or the-like, please reach out to me directly, comment on this post, and/or connect with Issey Wu. These two students come with expertise from an industry-driven curriculum and are ready to start work when you need them. They are also open to positions that are not formally considered co-op, but would give them exposure to an industry related to automation, electrical engineering, or mechanical engineering. Let's open some doors! 🚪 #automation #engineering #electricalengineering #mechanicalengineering #summerjobs #coop #studentwork #solidworks #autocad #systemsintegration #controlsystems #instrumentation #manufacturing #jobs #jobsearch #layoff #recruitment #talentacquisition

Hello #connections, Day 4: At the Eagle Aura Technologies LLP, on the fourth day we started with the next process of the PCB Manufacturing. Step 10: The next step is QC. When the Panel come from Developing, it is sent to QC (Quality Control). The panel is checked thoroughly and if everything is found satisfying, then the panel is sent into the Electroplating line. step 11: This step is called Electroplating. In this process, the panels are attached with a clamp stand and are dipped into different chemical chambers for specific amount of time. There are different steps in Electroplating: --> Acid Cleaner: In this step the panel is dipped into the diluted acid solution. The acid used is sulfuric acid (H2SO4). This step is important to clean the panel and remove every dust particles present. The time period in this chemical chamber is around 5 minutes. --> Rinse: In this step the panel is dipped into the water chamber and the water completely rinse the panel. --> Micro Etch: This step is important as it makes the day film on the panel strong so that it don't get removed during the following steps. --> Copper platting: In this step the panel is dipped into the copper plating chamber. In this chamber many copper balls are attached at the walls of the chamber and electricity is passed through the solution. The panel is moved continuously in the solution. Time period for this process is around 45 minutes. In this step, the copper is plated on the panel as well as on the carbon which was deposited in the holes during Back Hole process. --> Tin Plating: In this step the tin layer is deposited on the copper layer. This step is important as the tin layer will protect the circuit path during copper etching process. --> Rinse: Finally the panel is again rinsed into the water and the electroplating process is completed. That was all for the fourth day : ) #internship #pcbmanufacturing #electroplating #electronics #electronicsmanufacturing #semiconductor

On a mission to help engineers to be more entrepreneurial | Project Director @ Legacy Property Chartered Civil and Structural Engineer passionate about design thinking, innovation and challenging the status quo.
The 2 things an Engineering Manager would look for in a new hire: 1. Attitude Attitude is everything, it helps you show up everyday, it tests you in tricky situations, it guides your decision making and approach to do the work. 2. Curiosity Engineers must be curious. To learn new things, to be open to new ideas, to explore and dive into options that may not even result in the solution. To ask informed questions that challenge the status quo, using design thinking and harnessing innovation, helps you be a sponge, absorb information, and then use it to find more solutions. Technical skills are founded on curiosity, that drives further understanding. No one expects you have all the skills that are developed over time, just come with the right attitude and the willingness to learn, and you'll be set to create the engineering career you are after.
