Here are some key takeaways: • 𝐈𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐲: The conference spotlighted designing #cities for all and immigrant integration in #urban contexts. • 𝐔𝐫𝐛𝐚𝐧 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: Innovative approaches to urban revitalization were explored, emphasizing practical tools for implementation and strategies for creating #metropolitan cohesion. • 𝐌𝐨𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲: Insights were shared on #SustainableMobility planning and integrating infrastructure for more accessible metropolises. We presented our innovative thermal comfort-based approach to urban #walkability, showcasing our research, "Multi-Disciplinary Perspectives on Pedestrian Thermal Comfort and Walkability," in which we explored solutions from a multi-disciplinary perspective to allow outdoor #ThermalComfort for #pedestrians, using #Milan as the testbed and analyzing the city on different scales. We also dove our scientific research project, "STEP UP - Walkability for Women in Milan," in collaboration with TeMA Lab – Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II, Sex & the City APS, and Walk21 Foundation, describing our data-driven approach to assessing women's walkability and its implications.
