As dedicated trainers, our mission is to guide our students towards success by providing insightful feedback. We utilise various feedback techniques to ensure our messages are clear, constructive, and actionable. Some of the techniques we frequently use include the sandwich technique, the STAR method etc. However, what if a student gives us feedback? What if a student says they were not happy or they didn't understand a concept, or if at the end of a session come to us and point out a few mistakes we made during our class? What do we do? Do we get on the defensive or do we take it, go back to the drawing board and make the necessary corrections? Feedback is supposed to be two-way street.
