Bang on assessment! Focus on reskilling / upskilling is at the front and center of how we move forward. Not only tech skills but also mindset of adapting to new paradigm
Generative AI will continue to present one of the biggest engines for economic growth and companies globally are racing to invest in the resources needed to fuel AI to support that growth. While we often hear about the technology that’s behind driving AI innovation, we can’t overlook the people that will be needed to meet the opportunity ahead. We tend to center our focus on AI and automation replacing jobs, but we have a massive opportunity to shift our perspective and focus on how our workforce can provide even more value than before. While many leaders are thinking about it in terms of how to hire, we can’t merely hire our way out of this. It’s going to take a dramatic readjustment in how we think about skilling and upskilling the workforce to drive the future with AI. Instead, we should focus on what it’s going to take to train and rethink jobs on a scale that we’ve never seen before. This will be a huge challenge, but it’s also an opportunity we should embrace to support the promise of AI. I recently spoke with The Wall Street Journal reporter Belle Lin about what the AI revolution means for talent. More in this piece: https://lnkd.in/dvDrxyvK #GenAI #hiring #jobs
