🦑 Sponsorship Appeal – Help Us Reach the Finish Line 🏁 As we continue preparing for our Row to Recovery, there’s one thing we know for sure: this journey wouldn’t be possible without the generosity of our sponsors and supporters. But we’re still facing an uphill battle, and we need your help to make it to the start line—and ultimately, across the Pacific. Our row is more than just a physical feat. It’s a movement to bring awareness to the mental health struggles faced by veterans, a journey that will spotlight their needs and provide the support they deserve. But we can’t do it without you. There are still critical components to fund—things like safety equipment, crew food for training, and shipping the boat to the U.S. All of these elements are essential to ensuring our row is a success. We’re calling on businesses, organizations, and individuals to step up and join us as sponsors. Whether it’s through a monetary contribution or an in-kind donation of equipment or supplies, your support will help get us to the starting point and ensure that we’re fully equipped for this challenge. Even smaller sponsorships—starting at $500—make a huge difference, and a $250 donation gets you a spot in our Cephalopod Squad with exclusive recognition. Let’s cross that finish line together. Your support today will have a lasting impact on veterans’ lives tomorrow. 💪🦑 https://lnkd.in/ePyxe_qi #TameTheKraken #RowToRecovery #SponsorshipAppeal #SupportOurVeterans #VeteransMentalHealth #CephalopodSquad #PacificRow2024 #SponsorToday

TTKTOTD 🦑 The Power of Community and Support. No journey is ever taken alone, and our Tame the Kraken Pacific 2025 is no different. At Row to Recovery, we believe in the power of community—without it, this mission simply wouldn’t be possible. The challenges veterans face after returning home are often ones of isolation. But when we come together as a community, we create a support system where none existed before. We’re not just rowing across the Pacific for the sake of the adventure; we’re rowing to shine a light on the importance of collective care. This mission embodies the idea that no one is left behind, especially those who have served our country with courage and sacrifice. Our community has already rallied around us in powerful ways—through donations, encouragement, and the countless messages of support we've received from around the world. But there’s still so much more to do, and we need you to be part of this journey. Whether you're a business looking to give back, an individual ready to make a difference, or someone who cares about veterans' well-being, your involvement matters. Becoming a sponsor or joining the Cephalopod Squad 🦑 isn’t just about money—it's about being part of something bigger. Every hand, every message, and every donation helps us row closer to our goal and brings us one step closer to providing veterans the resources they desperately need. When a community comes together, nothing is impossible. Let’s keep building that support and continue rowing forward, together. 🌍💙 https://lnkd.in/e3MgVVMd #CommunitySupport #TameTheKraken #RowToRecovery #VeteransMentalHealth #TogetherWeRow #CephalopodSquad

🌍 Today is World Suicide Prevention Day – Let’s Reach Out and Make a Difference 🌍 Today, we take a moment to highlight an important and often silent struggle that affects so many – the fight for mental health and the battle against suicide. At Row to Recovery and through Tame The Kraken’s Pacific Row, our mission is to bring this topic out of the shadows, especially for our veterans who face unique and often invisible battles every day. It starts with a simple action: reaching out. Whether it’s a friend, family member, or colleague, take the time today to check in. Sometimes, a simple “How are you really doing?” can be the light someone needs to see their way out of the darkness. 🌟 We must break the stigma often associated with mental health and suicide. It’s okay to not be okay, and it’s okay to ask for help. Sharing struggles doesn’t make us weak; it makes us human. Together, we can create a community where no one feels alone, and everyone knows there is always someone to turn to. For our veterans, the challenges can be especially tough. As they transition back to civilian life, many face invisible wounds. That’s why our Row to Recovery is not just about crossing the Pacific; it’s about crossing boundaries of silence, stigma, and isolation to provide hope, support, and resources. 💬 What Can You Do Today? Reach out to someone – a simple message or call can make a world of difference. Ask for help – if you’re struggling, know that it’s okay to speak up. Continue the conversation – help us break the stigma by talking openly about mental health. Together, let’s create waves of change and show our veterans and everyone struggling that they are not alone. 💙🦑 #WorldSuicidePreventionDay #ReachOut #BreakTheStigma #MentalHealthMatters #RowToRecovery #TameTheKraken #VeteranSupport #YouAreNotAlone #CommunitySupport #PacificRow2024

TTKTOTD 🦑 The "Why" Behind our Pacific Challenge [Row to Recovery] At Tame The Kraken, our mission goes far beyond just rowing across the Pacific, it will hopefully be the catalyst in becoming a new program, 'Row to Recovery'. It's about something much deeper—it’s about creating a platform that raises awareness and funds and opportunities for veterans' to heal through doing. It's about giving back to those who have given so much for all of us. Veterans face unique challenges when they return to civilian life. For many, the battle doesn’t end when the uniform comes off. The lingering effects of trauma, depression, anxiety, and PTSD take a toll on veterans every day, and the resources to support them are often limited. This is where Row to Recovery steps in. Over the coming weeks leading up to our departure from California we'll explain what started as an idea while out rowing across the Atlantic will become a reality with your help. This row isn’t just a physical challenge—it’s a commitment to our veterans' well-being. By joining the Cephalopod Squad or becoming a sponsor, you’re directly helping us provide critical support to those who need it most. Your contribution helps amplify the voices of veterans and ensures they receive the care they deserve. Together, we can row for their recovery. 🌊💪 #TameTheKraken #RowToRecovery #VeteransMentalHealth #SupportOurVeterans #CephalopodSquad #MakingADifference
