Engine reconditioning workshop with the highest level of efficiency and reliability

Enhancing skills with "Industrial safety -Six Steps to a Safe machine "! One-day workshop organised by IEEE SB NSSCE I Expanding professional expertise.

David Deihl, PCEC General Manager/CEO, was recently appointed as a district representative to the 2024-25 Training and Development Committee of the Missouri Electric Cooperatives (AMEC). AMEC is the service organization of the state’s 47 electric cooperatives, which serve more than 580,000 businesses and homes. As a member of the Training and Development Committee, Deihl will be responsible for activities relating to improving the professional and technical abilities of electric cooperative employees and directors. These activities include workshops and conferences developed by AMEC, programs offered through NRECA management services, conferences developed by electric cooperative employee groups and others. The objective is to keep electric cooperative employees and directors abreast of the latest safety procedures and managerial, professional and technical developments in the highly complex electric industry.

One year of planning has finally come to a successful end.

Over these past two weeks, our Fives European Combustion Centre in Piacenza, Italy, hosted two training sessions for 40 participants on industrial combustion systems. Each session included both theoretical and practical lessons. They covered key aspects of the flares operation, such as pilot burners, gas pressure settings, venturi system operation, flame signal control and more. We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Fives Services Gulf, for enabling this fruitful collaboration, to aramco gulf operations, for the participation of 40 of their skilled employees and to our experts Andrea Mela and Mohannad AlGhamdi. A special moment of pride came during the certificate award ceremonies for all participants. Fives ITAS CEO, Francesco Giudici, who gave the diplomas, declared that "Training is the foundation for innovative and sustainable progress. At our Fives European Combustion Centre, we aim to foster technical excellence and empower professionals to treat the challenges of industrial combustion with confidence, precision and sustainability in mind”.
