In my experience, birth injury claims relating to Cerebral Palsy are some of the most complex and emotional. The life-altering ramifications of these injuries make it so critical that these claims are treated with the utmost care and attention to detail, both for the affected patient and their family. These cases take several years to reach final settlement, so long-term cooperation with our claimants is also essential. A: Pediatric populations indeed present unique challenges in preventing and managing skin tears. In children, skin tears often result from trauma during dressing or device removal, or even from handling the child, particularly in neonates with delicate skin. Dear Connections, Friends, Teaming Partners -- Do you know your cholesterol numbers? Do you know your kids' cholesterol numbers? Yes, that's what I said. Your Kids Too. The earlier someone in your family is diagnosed with Familial Hypercholesterolemia (High LDL) the faster they can get help and treatment to get into the "safe zone" and then they'll live their entire lives with a much lower chance of having early heart disease. #FH can be controlled - by diet and exercise - and if that LDL is so high diet and exercise isn't enough because that child inhereted the family gene which means they don't have enouh LDL Receptors in their Liver Cells to capture and destroy the LDL, then there are options now available - even to children. So, with all my healthy heart, do you know your cholesterol numbers? Your kids' too? It could save a generation or two or three or the rest of the generations to follow. #KNOWFH
