"A large crowd of people followed Jesus, including many women who mourned and lamented him." —Luke 23:27 Mary knows the sword is poised to pierce her heart, and yet she only mourns for her Son. Through every torment He endures, she is there with unfathomable love. † Our Lady of Sorrows, lead me along the Way of the Cross to offer Christ my sufferings and consolation, little as they may be. Never let me be blinded to my sins and how they nailed your precious Son to the Cross. Amen. †

My broken💔heart to the Sacred💔Heart. Kintsugi is the art of filling in the cracks & broken parts of pottery with gold, which in turn makes the brokenness both more visible as well as the pottery more valuable in it's brokeness. The process of intentionally cultivating humility works very much in the same way. We accept with gentleness our own personal brokenness and also the brokenness of others Ego is easy; humility is hard. Ego is the natural state of being human and our supernatural call is humility; if we don't hear the call, life will surely teach it to us. If you've never heard of or thought of intentionally cultivating humility, give me a call and let's explore together the idea of what it means to intentionally cultivate humilty. Verse: Acts 17:27 ‘God intended that they would seek Him and perhaps reach out for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us.’ - It has always been God’s plan for us to seek Him and find Him. - This verse tells us that we can step out in faith and reach out to Him. - So reach out to the Lord with your concerns, He is not too busy to hear. - In the process may you discover His presence and His love surrounding you. PRAYER: Lord, I choose to look to You for the intervention that I need. I reach out to You today to ask You to step into my life and make Your presence real to me. Thank You that You are not far from me. Amen. Have an awesome Thursday.

Todays Daily Devotions: Love Each Other Deeply, Because Love Covers Over A Multitude Of Sins. 1st Peter 4 Living for God 1 Therefore, since Christ suffered in his body, arm yourselves also with the same attitude, because whoever suffers in the body is done with sin. 2 As a result, they do not live the rest of their earthly lives for evil human desires, but rather for the will of God. 3 For you have spent enough time in the past doing what pagans choose to do—living in debauchery, lust, drunkenness, orgies, carousing and detestable idolatry. I love my children more than I love myself. Christ sets a very high benchmark for us: to love each other as he loved us. Certainly easier said than done! Compared to the other commandments, perhaps the most difficult as well. Ponder the original Ten Commandments and what do you think of? When I think about them I think about things that I am not supposed to do: murder, steal, commit adultery, use the Lord's name in vain. They are in a sense, prohibitive. Now read the verses above: John illustrates, loving ones brothers and sisters is a new commandment. What's more, it's imperative, telling us what we need to do. How amazing would the world be if we loved one another as God loves us! Think about the other commandments if we followed this new commandment in the book of John: many of the other commandments would be unthinkable, impossible to even consider! Nobody would covet, steal, or murder. In a way, this new commandment encapsulates all of the others. Is it a lofty goal? Of course. Is it something that we should all strive for with all of our being? You know the answer.

The Greatest Gift‼️ What is the cheapest and easiest gift? Give a kind word away! It can make a sad heart glad. Such love will not cost you anything. What a cheap way to be rich to others! You could send a person skipping down the street. You could lay another brick for eternal life. Your mouth can do more than swallow food. It can cheer a heavy heart. You can learn kind, complimentary, encouraging words of truth to do it. Can you spot a heavy heart or sad spirit? Do you know good words it needs? Will you get excited to fulfill this proverb? Christians are to love one another (Jn 13:34-35). Church members are to consider one another (Heb 10:24; 13:3). Both are one-on-one duties. Speech is often used to cut and hurt, but considerate words in love can be very healthful (Pr 12:18; 16:24; 25:11; 27:9). LORD God, heal the sick, strengthen the believers and save the LOST! Amen

Believers reflect the love of Christ by extending grace to others. Here are 5 ways to do that: 1. Speak kindly: "Gracious words are like a honeycomb, sweetness to the soul and health to the body" (Prov. 16:24). 2. Serve selflessly: "For you were called to freedom, brothers. Only do not use your freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another" (Gal. 5:13). 3. Share generously: "And do not neglect doing good and sharing, for with such sacrifices God is pleased" (Heb. 13:16). 4. Support steadfastly: "Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing" (1 Thess. 5:11). 5. Forgive freely: "Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you" (Eph. 4:32).
