🚨 Big news and even bigger news! LinkedIn tells me it is five years since I started hope-based communications! Seems like as good a time as any to announce that we are working on turning our informal community into a real-life social change organization, the Center for Hope-based Communication. ✒ We just launched a waiting list for people to express interest in being part of it: https://lnkd.in/eT8RjTgj The Center will spread the #hopebased approach but also organize the Hope-based Collective, a space to bring people together to turn hope into action. Our idea is to operate as a global community organizing group that offers a platform for changemakers to become trainers, innovators and influencer-storytellers who can work together to drive social change in their movements, their own communities, and the community that we all share - the world. Crucially, we want people to work together globally to change narratives, attitudes and behavior. We are all interconnected, our movements and strategies should be too.
