DC/MD/VA Plaintiff's Attorney and Lawyer for Lawyers

It’s back to school season in Virginia! I have a mix of emotions today. So proud of the independent, sweet, kind, smart girl that #1 is becoming. Maybe TOO independent as she barely even hugged me goodbye on her first day of Kindergarten. But I’m reminded of the strong role model I’m setting for her in being a mommy and a lawyer. Fighting for my clients and helping people. Making breakfast and dinner, going to afterschool activities. She tells me she wants to be a doctor AND a mommy. I know how hard it is to balance both of those careers and I’ll support her every way I can. #lawyermom #lawmama #backtoschool #mommylawyer #trialattorney

I completely support your decision to hide your children’s faces—it's such a wise and protective choice! I recently came across a post that mentioned some unsettling programs out there that could potentially be misused to alter images even as to remove people’s clothing. I don’t mean to sound overly cautious or paranoid, and I know you didn’t ask for advice, but I felt compelled to share this just in case it’s something you’d want to be aware of.Please know that this comes from a place of care and concern.

What a beautiful journey of growth and support—you’re setting such a positive example. 👩⚖️❤️ Tara Tighe Umbrino
