🚀 Introducing Kitmap: Powering Innovation and Boosting R&D through Shared Resources 🌟 We’re proud to announce the launch of Kitmap, the innovative online database and directory unveiled today by Minister Hon Judith Collins KC MP . 🎉 This free-to-use tool provides access to 260 R&D resources, from facilities like clean rooms to state-of-the-art equipment such as NMR spectrometers. These resources were previously accessible only within Crown Research Institutes, the National eScience Infrastructure, and Callaghan Innovation. 🏢🔬 Kitmap is part of a broader initiative led by MBIE, aimed at enhancing collaboration and resource sharing across Aotearoa New Zealand’s science and technology sector. By offering easy access to essential R&D facilities and tools, Kitmap removes many barriers and maximises the impact and benefits they can have on our country’s innovation ecosystem. 🌏🔧 For companies or individuals looking to perform R&D, Kitmap is invaluable right now. Beginning just right! 🚀 With the support of our dedicated community members, Psyconnect conducted the first session of the March event. It received participation from learners of diverse stages, from UG students to active researchers. No words can describe both the knowledge and enthusiasm of the esteemed guest, Dr. Kulwinder Singh. 🎓 Giving a brief summary of the event: He started from describing the process of selecting the sample from a range of population. How to select the appropriate method of sampling with highlighting the probability and non probability sampling techniques. He then focused on the major tools to measure the different aspects of human behaviour such as eysenck personality tests, two factor models, big five inventory and so on.. He then moved on to the major discussions highlighting the various steps involved in conducting research such as identification, selection, and defining the problem for research, hypothesis formation, importance of deductive- inductive reasoning in hypothesis formation etc.. He also discussed concept of Omega coefficient of reliability. Additionally, he discussed about some important topics such as national development, sustainable development, well being and NEP 2020 and also included interactive discussions on some major reasearch papers. Finally he discussed some live questions from the participants side. Especially the speaker facilitated researchers to discuss their PhD and research problems. Be a part of this exciting journey!
