It lasted four minutes and peaked at over 500,000 requests per second at 05:09 UTC. As highlighted in our Q2 DDoS report, most DDoS attacks are short-lived. While a 500,000 request per second (rps) attack is not large for Cloudflare, it can be devastating for websites not equipped to handle such traffic levels.
