🚨 Important Health Advisory 🦟: Recent heavy rainfall in northern Australia & eastern seaboard has led to flooding, increasing the risk of mosquito-borne diseases. Ross River virus and Barmah Forest virus are the most common mosquito-borne diseases in Northern Australia, however there are several other serious diseases that can be transmitted by the salt marsh mosquito. Stay safe by using mosquito repellent, wearing long sleeves, and eliminating stagnant water around your home or workplace.
