Will this work for you?’ Last Friday’s example: Customer: ‘Can you get me x2 PECO lifts to Leicester on Monday 12th August?’ Me: *Checks with the hire desk* Me: ‘We can’t do Monday, but I can get them delivered Tuesday morning if that works?’ Customer: ‘That works for me. Book them in please.’ Sometimes the machine isn’t available. Sometimes transport for that day is already full. Offering alternatives not only builds trust but also keeps projects on track.
