First Phosphate Corp (CSE: PHOS) CEO John Passalacqua joined Steve Darling to share important news regarding Quebec's commitment to the development of critical and strategic minerals. The Quebec Minister of Natural Resources and Forests unveiled the 2023-2025 Action Plan for the implementation of the Quebec Plan for the Development of Critical and Strategic Minerals 2020-2025. Passalacqua revealed to Proactive that this update to the Quebec list of critical and strategic minerals will now include apatite, specifically phosphate. Quebec now joins the ranks of jurisdictions such as Ontario, the European Union, and South Korea, which all recognize phosphate as a critical and strategic mineral. Importantly, Passalacqua emphasized that a decision by the Governments of Canada and the United States on the status of phosphate as a critical and strategic mineral is anticipated in 2024 or beyond. EU tarvitsee kansainvälisiä kumppaneita, jotta CRMA:n tavoitteisiin päästään, kirjoittaa Benchmark (tilaajille): "The EU will rely heavily on international partners to meet criticalminerals diversification targets under its Critical Raw Materials Act (CRMA), which entered into force on 23 May 2024. According to the CRMA, the EU should source no more than 65% of its annual consumption of each strategic raw material from any single non-EU country, including China, by 2030. Boosting domestic mining should support this. However, this will be insufficient without increasing international supply too. “Besides onshoring and critical mineral supply localisation, the CRMA aims to derisk and reduce the EU’s import reliance on China through supply diversification and cooperation with mineral-rich third countries,” commented Bryan Bille, Principal Policy Analyst at Benchmark. #kriittisetmateriaalit #strategisetkumppanuudet #diversification #CRMA https://lnkd.in/dusNCkW9

vein Graphite in sri lanka need immense exploration for unrevealed sources at least to reach 500mt permonth production capacity as a whole country.other than that it is necessary to do technological and procress improvements for currently mined 03 major mines to effective mining, processing and underground developments.
Benchmark Mineral Intelligence published the first ever global #Graphite map, featuring Tirupati Graphite PLC as one of the handful Natural Graphite #producer ex-China at a time when markets are expected to grow 250%. This map illustrates the current state of the geographical spread of natural and synthetic graphite producers and developers, highlighting Tirupati's advanced stage with currently producing 30,000tpa natural flake graphite operations in Madagascar and two advanced stage development projects in Mozambique - both countries are expected to be in the top 3 of graphite producing nations by 2030. Since the implementation of graphite export restrictions in China, the world has experienced the criticality of this niche mineral and #TGR is strongly developing further for the world to be able to secure its supply chain.

📢 Major high-grade fluorspar discovery The final set of assay results are in from our critical minerals exploration programme which has grown the multi-commodity potential of the Ngualla carbonatite system. ⬆ Assays from Breccia Zone confirm outstanding high-grade thick intercepts of fluorspar supporting the potential of a globally significant fluorspar deposit. ⬆ Prospectivity of Breccia Zone further enhanced by significant high-grade rare earth mineralisation as well as elevated levels of niobium. ⬆ Final assays from Northern Zone extend the area of high-grade phosphate mineralisation, supporting the recently identified opportunity to supply phosphate into local fertiliser sector. Engagement with strategic parties around low cost phosphate and fluorspar development options is underway to complement the delivery of the rare earth project at Ngualla.
