At Taurus Biogas, we know getting the most out of your biogas system requires the right "diet." Here's a quick guide to what thrives in a digester and what doesn't: What Thrives: ✅ Agricultural Waste: Manure, crop residues, and even food processing waste become valuable biogas producers. ✅ Food Waste: Pre-consumer scraps, restaurant FOG, and expired foods get a new life generating clean energy. ✅ Municipal Waste: Sewage sludge, yard trimmings, and paper products find a sustainable home in your digester. ✅ Other Organic Materials: Fats, oils, and greases (FOG) join the party and contribute to biogas production. What to Leave Out: ☑ Hazardous Materials: Chemicals, paints, and pharmaceuticals can harm your system and the environment. ☑ Indigestible Inerts: Plastics, glass, metal, and rubber don't break down and can damage equipment. Taurus Biogas helps you choose the optimal feedstock mix for your specific needs, ensuring your digester operates efficiently and delivers maximum biogas output. Let's discuss how we can optimize your system for success! #Biogas #WastetoEnergy #RNG

There are many misconceptions about biogas. One of the most common misunderstandings is that biogas production results in an unpleasant smell. In reality, digesters are often installed on farms to minimize odors. Anaerobic digesters are fully enclosed, and biogas is not released directly into the air. We take a proactive approach and designed our system with farmers' concerns in mind, ensuring minimal disruption at their dairy farms and the surrounding communities.

It's Stop Food Waste Day 🗑 33% of all food produced globally is lost or wasted every year. All waste can, and should, be put to good use. That’s why we transform the waste we receive into biomass fuels such as refuse-derived fuel (RDF) and solid recovered fuel (SRF). #StopFoodWaste #FoodWaste #Waste #Recycling #Biomass #Fuel

From 1000 kg of sugar cane, we can produce 150 kg of sugar and 2 liters of bioethanol. But here's the kicker: it requires a substantial amount of steam, and that's where John Cockerill Proserpol comes in. For over 20 years, we've been designing the largest industrial anaerobic digester to produce biogas from distillery by-products (i.e. vinasses). This biogas not only covers 100% of the distillery's boiler needs but also plays a crucial role in reducing its carbon footprint. Without it, bioethanol production would heavily rely on fossil gas, rendering it less environmentally friendly. #Sustainability #RenewableEnergy #Innovation

𝐔𝐧𝐥𝐨𝐜𝐤 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐨𝐟 𝐔𝐂𝐎-𝐁𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐁𝐢𝐨𝐝𝐢𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐥! Did you know? Used Cooking Oil (UCO) can be transformed into biodiesel through a simple process called transesterification, offering properties similar to diesel. UCO-based biodiesel is a game-changer: zero sulfur content, and significant reductions in carbon monoxide and hydrocarbon emissions. UCO is not only cost-effective but also helps in waste reduction, preventing landfill overflow. Plus, biodiesel production yields glycerol, a valuable byproduct for the soap industry. Join UCO Network in harnessing the power of UCO-based biodiesel for a cleaner, greener future! 🌿🚚 #UCONETWORK #UCO #Biodiesel #Sustainability Sign up the UCO Network BETA app now at WWW.UCO.NETWORK !

As #Nigeria obviously shifts gradually to #CNG,be reminded that very pro active organizations can take advantage of this opportunity by adopting an independent #BIOCNG production facility in such a way that organic waste will be converted to CNG. Identify sources of sustainable organic waste, set up a complete Biogas production and upgrading system and then compress Biogas into Cylinder or cascades… The only difference between the petroleum CNG and BioCNG is just how they are being produced else both contain #METHANE as the main chemical element.

🌏 Biomethane - the fuel of the future. It is a renewable natural gas that contains at least 95% methane and is intended for use in gas distribution systems. It is a full-fledged substitute for natural gas. In particular, biogas plants (BPS) have the greatest potential for biomethane production. 🔊 Do you know what kind of bio-waste BPS process? These are edible fats and oils, gastro waste (from canteens, restaurants, etc.), grass, green corn, leaves, animal by-products of categories 2 and 3, biodegradable municipal waste, sludge. We are able to supply individual machines (sterilizers, conveyors and shredders) or even complete lines for your biogas plant.
