This is very helpful, but even with this cheat sheet, things are more complex than they seem.
For example, your Facebook cover photo is cropped differently on mobile versus desktop, meaning you must select an image that works for both and fits within certain margins within those dimensions.
I would also recommend making that Facebook cover photo a larger size (at least double) with the same aspect ratio and using a PNG format if you are including text to get a sharper image after the platform compresses it.
For vertical formats like Reels and TikTok, you have to design with each platform's on-screen controls in mind. You don't want the most important parts of your video or graphic blocked by buttons, usernames, captions, etc.
All this to say: you need a great social media team!
