Undoubtedly, the shift in my role from a Project manager 🤠 to an Electrician ⚡ may have seemed unusual to many of you. Consequently, quite a few of you reached out to me with the question: "Vitalii, are you serious? Are you genuinely, with your education, unique experience, and after over 5 years of working as a Project manager, involved in implementing numerous monumental projects, now transitioning to work as a regular Electrician?" My response – yes 😊 However, allow me to explain why I made this choice. With my background in engineering and energy management, and over 10 years of experience in the energy sector, with 5 of those years dedicated to project management, I have always sought to push beyond my comfort zone. My work in the energy sector has been filled with ambitious projects and technological challenges. Currently, I'm engaged in projects at TEAD Ukraine, working in the field of energy efficiency and conservation on a more academic level 👨🎓 . However, when presented with the opportunity to participate in highly ambitious projects, including the construction of a major 65kV/15kV substation with hands-on involvement, I couldn't let this chance slip away. My decision isn't solely tied to a formal job title. I aim not only to maintain my professional skills but also to update and enrich my practical knowledge in the energy field. Additionally, an attractive compensation package also factored into making this decision. Ultimately, I am convinced that this step has helped me broaden my horizons and delve deeper into the realities of the industry. I believe that every manager should, from time to time, look at things from a different perspective to stay connected with reality. What are your thoughts on this matter? 🧐 I look forward to engaging in new and interesting discussions in comments or via private messages!

Seeking Partnership Opportunities
It's strange being in growth mode when so much of the solar industry is (temporarily!) contracting. Looking to partner with solar professionals who aren't afraid to take on "the hardest job in solar"--servicing home solar systems. If you are or know of top tier solar Operations leaders, experienced, mature solar technicians/foremen, or investors who want to participate in this rapidly growing sector, let me know.

Are you currently trying to grow your renewable energy team but don’t have time to search for the perfect candidate? Or are you are struggling to find someone with a specific skill? As the renewable energy industry is just getting started in Australia, there’s a lot of growth expected in coming years across the country. Growth within the industry means more time spent on internal recruitment for a renewable energy company, and less time in other areas. 📈Growth in Renewable Energy Industry = 🏗 Growth in projects 📈Increase in Renewable Energy projects = 🆕 Increase in the number of people starting in the industry. 📈More people in the industry = ⌛More time spent finding a suitable candidate. 📈More time spent finding perfect candidate = 📉 Less productivity in other areas of the company. I am currently working with multiple highly skilled candidates holding experience within the renewable energy industry, both in Australia and in Europe. 🌍 Many of these candidates are working as: - Project Manager/Development Manager - Land Acquisition - Project Engineers - Grid Connection Manager - Power Systems Engineers - Safety Advisor - Head of Finance, Development, etc. - Project Director - Wind Engineers - Business Development Manager - Commercial Manager I am also interested in discussing any other roles within the renewable energy and transmission industry. If you are currently looking to grow within your company and want to spend less time finding candidates to focus on the other areas of the company, send me a message. 📩

Land acquisition for wind and solar projects is far easier in the North of Germany than in the South 🇩🇪 Why? In the past, Northern German families passed down their land in its entirety to the eldest son. Meanwhile, land was divided equally amongst family members in the South of Germany meaning plots got smaller and smaller. Therefore #projectdevelopers need to negotiate with far less land owners in the North, making their job much easier. Here’s a list of #wind and #solarenergy project developer positions open in the North of Germany! ⬇ Just DM or email our consultants stating the role you’re interested in to receive a detailed job description. P.S. Share this post with someone that could benefit from it 📲

I help engineers develop into leadership roles. Engineering career coach and mentor. Director of Engineering. Artist and writer.
There are massive opportunities if you are an electrical engineer in the UK. The UK have ambitious wind energy targets. Newly announced to double onshore wind generation from 15GW to 30GW by 2030. This will be a huge boost to the already booming energy construction industry. This alone can create up to new 27,000 jobs. But in order to enable the connections, the electrical infrastructure also needs to build five times more what was built over the last 30 years. Not to mention the 15GW to 60GW by 2030 target for offshore wind. These targets all require rapid expansion, and at the heart of all this is the workforce. Electrical engineers will be required at an unprecedented scale over the next 10-20 years.
