"I've said this before and I'll say it again: get your horse out of the perfectly manicured arenas. It will contribute to their cross training, their soundness, their confidence, and so much more. Be smart about it, know your horse and take baby steps if you have to. But get your horse out and about." How do we periodise our training throughout the Year? We want to keep our learning phases to the off-season and performance phases to the peak season. Technique and certain forms of Skill Training may be best for when you aren't trying to perform on the course. For example, if you are a slicer, then working on your technique and widely experimenting to hit a draw may be fun, but it probably won't do wonders for your scorecard. Likewise, performance training is excellent for getting the most out of current swing and skill levels to shoot the lowest scores possible on the golf course at that time. However, there will be a ceiling to how good you can get, and you would instead raise your golfing potential with swing changes in the off-season!

Owner at Horse Help Solutions, LLC | We provide horse owners with the education needed to enjoy training their own horse safely, confidently, and successfully.
“The number one thing I recommend to anybody joining the Horse Help program is to get involved. If you're going to improve yourself, improve your horse, you need to get involved 100%. And then set goals. Goals are so important. Without a goal, it's hard to really know what to strive for, what to go for, and where you're at in your training. So having goals and breaking them down is really important to a successful relationship with your horse.” -Leslie Upton P.S. - Tired of feeling frustrated trying to work with and ride your own horse? - Message us the word “HELP” to learn how to get DIY horse training education and support! #customerreview #thehorseguru #horsetrainer #horsetraining #naturalhorsemanship #testimonial

Here at HQ, we've been working on our mission statement. Some of our coaches have been helping me hone and define what we do and why we do it. Not only does it help explain to new disco riders what they can expect at our events, it helps us shape our strategies. All our coaches share our mission and we can now express it as choosing joy. Joy extends to the experience our riders have at our events. It also covers the feelings our coaches are chasing when they facilitate and deliver our events. Thirdly and as importantly, it describes the emotions we want our horses and ponies to be immersed in when they are involved. What does joy mean to you and how often do you feel it when you're training? https://wix.to/Ind7m7v

Virtually every golfer dreams of swinging the club faster. At GolfCave, you can turn that dream into reality with our TrackMan Speed Training feature. Here's how it works: 1. Finding the Feature: On TrackMan 9.4, look toward the bottom of the screen and select the Speed Training feature. It's easy to find and even easier to use! 2. Practice Without a Ball: Unlike regular sessions, you don't need to hit a ball to measure your speed. Simply make practice swings with a club or training aid and see what speed you can produce. 3. Free Your Mind: Without the pressure of hitting a ball, you can swing freely and maximize your power. Focus on speed first, then add accuracy and precision later. This feature is a game-changer for any golfer looking to enhance their swing speed and overall performance. Check out our CaveTip on YouTube for a detailed guide on using this feature! https://lnkd.in/gxVkfnZQ
