Alright, so this is probably the most important part of your resume. It's the summary section. The summary section is the section where most of y'all put personal, objective. Listen, personal objectives are dead. Don't use that terminology. The summary portion of your resume it's like basically a cover letter. I want to see five to seven bullet points of years of experience using certain languages or technologies. I'm in the software space. But even if like you run restaurants like five to seven bullet points of like your major accomplishments that you've done throughout your career, if your professional summary section is really good. Spot on. As a recruiter, I don't read the rest of your resume. I'm going to call you, so put a lot of focus in this area.
solid advice. whether it's the cover letter or summary, the objective is the same; give the reader a reason to either keep reading or as you stated, stop reading and pick up the phone.
