💫 Transforming Manvers Footbridge in Rotherham Manvers Way Footbridge is a cable-stayed steel bridge carrying a footpath across A633 Manvers Way, Wath-upon-Dearne. The overall span is 35m and the bridge deck is supported by eight high tensile steel cables, connected to an A-frame pylon. The footbridge connects a sports field and residential area to the country park on the north side. On behalf of Breheny Civil Engineering, Taziker were contracted to remove the existing paint system and provide a new paint system over the entire structure including the pylon, steel deck elements and metal parapets. Alongside this, the replacement of a parapet post was required. 🔗 Find out more in our case study: https://lnkd.in/efjf6BxQ #TransformationTuesday #ManversFootbridge #Painting #Coatings #SteelworkRepairs #Engineering #Steelwork #Rotherham

Efficiency Meets Strength: Post-Tensioned Cast In-Situ Box Girders A cast in-situ bridge box girder, enhanced with post-tensioning, is a robust structural solution constructed directly on-site. Concrete is poured into formwork to create the hollow, rectangular girder. Post-tensioning involves the application of high-strength steel tendons within the girder, tensioned after the concrete cures. This technique improves load-carrying capacity and reduces material usage. Post-tensioning enhances the girder’s strength, minimizing cracking and deflection while allowing for longer spans and thinner sections. Ideal for curved or complex alignments, this design offers excellent torsional resistance and durability. Cast in-situ box girders with post-tensioning are widely used for modern bridge projects, providing a customized and long-lasting solution for heavy loads and challenging terrains. video rights : Respective owners DM for removal/credits #psc #boxgirder #bridge #bridgeconstruction #concrete #engineering #civilengineering #construction #civilconstruction #engenharia #engenhariacivil #engenheiro #engenheirocivil #ingeniero #ingenierocivil

Dildar building construction company. phone number and WhatsApp number +923338240442 Email address. sumbalgill18@gmail.com This diagram illustrates the structural arrangement of a main beam supporting a secondary beam. It highlights: 1. Beams of Equal Depth: Top Diagram: Reinforcement details include hanger bars, close stirrups, and diagonal stirrups to manage forces. Middle Diagram: Secondary beam reinforcement is integrated into the main beam using shear links, ensuring load transfer between beams. 2. Beams of Unequal Depth: Bottom Diagram: Special attention is given to the connection, with additional suspender stirrups to support the secondary beam extending below the main beam. These arrangements aim to ensure stability and proper load transfer in reinforced concrete structures. Let me know if you'd like a detailed explanation of any part!

A steel truss girder is a structural component made up of interconnected steel triangles or triangular shapes. Truss girders are designed to bear heavy loads and provide support for roofs or other structures. Steel truss girders are commonly used in the construction of large buildings, bridges, and other infrastructure projects. They are preferred over other materials due to their durability, strength, and relatively low cost.#creatingsolutionstogether #projects #rebarprojects #rebarinstallation #steelsuppliers #constructionproject #constructionsite #installers #WeldedMesh #BakkieBuilder #NationalFootprint #Construction #Contractors #Subcontractors #Buildings #Renovation
