The title says it all, this piece is written for #lawreformers, policy architecture mandarins, building controllers, regulators. One of the advantages of having been around a while is you've seen a lot, the swinging of the pendulum back and forth, back and forth, cut the red tape, apply new red tape, cut it again and so forth, deregulation then re-regulation, then over regulation, then under-regulation and so forth. Why reinvent the wheel? why not have regard to that which works that which fails? For when all is said and done there are certain inalienable truths, and these truths underpin - neither deregulation nor over-regulation, they make for RIGHT-REGULATION. #cop28 #cop28uae #ifc #worldbankgroup #davos I B Q C
