Calling all C-suite, Owners, Presidents, Vice Presidents, Directors, and Senior Management! We have a three part class designed just for you. This course focuses primarily on the development of individual leaders, a subtle but important difference. It uses trademarked, proprietary assessments that focus on leadership actions and effectiveness rather than just personality traits and preferences. During the three in-person sessions, participants will create individual development plans with the help of a Master Certified Executive Leadership Coach, Ted Turner. The transition from small business to a corporate role has been a welcome learning opportunity for me. As I approach my one year anniversary with SONIFI Health, I cannot help but recognize how much the company & my fellow employees have helped me grow into my role. This session in particular was a great check-in and a reminder of the systematic strategies I can be using to not only better myself as an employee, but better the company as a whole. Some of my favorite reminders were: • Ask for feedback, not only from your superiors but from your peers as well. • Get to know your HR department & ask questions about the policies you may be unclear on. • Be the first to pick up the trash. Leadership grows from the ground up! • Build your brag folder- what you have accomplished, how you have improved systems & processes, who has benefitted from your efforts, and what ideas you have for further development within your role. My final & favorite reminder was to READ as much as you can, as often as you can, about workforce and leadership. Thanks to Tracy, The New Leader's 100-Day Action Plan is at my bedside 📖 Looking forward to our next session!

I'm so thrilled to share a new program that I've been working on! This program benefits both the employee's professional growth and the organization's leadership pipeline. Many organizations struggle with developing and retaining high-potential employees. There is often a gap between an employee's current abilities and the skills needed to advance into leadership roles. This leads to capable employees becoming disengaged, seeking opportunities elsewhere, or being promoted before they are fully prepared. Through regular one-on-one coaching sessions, participants gain the knowledge, skills, and experience needed to become strong leaders.

The Chartered Management Institute cites 82% of managers have had no formal management training. A business wouldn’t think of expecting somebody to operate a complicated piece of machinery, to work out what to do, without adequate training. However, it happpens all the time when people who are good at their jobs are promoted into management positions, responsible for people, to lead teams, engage employees, manage their performance, without any appropriate management skills training. To be a good manager a business needs to invest in management training, to develop new skills, techniques and behaviours, many of which are critical in the changing workplace. That’s why we’ve put together a management development programme of 3 x half day workshops where leaders and managers will be better equipped to perform their jobs, giving them a ‘toolkit’ of management techniques and the confidence to deal with difficult situations. This is our ‘Managing in Changing Times’ programme as Sonya has outlined below. We’re running the programme bespoke for a number of companies over the next couple of months and will also be delivering an open programme, for managers from different companies to attend, taking place at our premises at stunning Denzell House in #Altrincham. Date tbc. Email us at admintaw@hrdept.co.uk if you’d like to find out more.
