Recently, Grow Your Own New Orleans held a retreat for the teachers and leaders of each program. This was a time to come together, reflect on progress, and plan for the future. This was an especially important time because GYO is expanding from 6 schools to 9. This retreat was crucial for aligning strategies and enhancing all collaborative efforts. We focused on setting a clear purpose for our work, re-normed our roles/responsibilities, and began building our collaborative calendar to ensure a smooth transition and successful expansion. We are excited to see how bright the future is for each cohort of students in all 9 schools! It’s always a good time when you can share about the hard work your staff does and the impact of that work. Implementing the Collaborative Reponse Model is bigger than just my school so take a listen to hear about how great work happens when there is system wide implementation.
Superintendent of Grasslands School Division, Scott Brandt, and the principal of Bassano School, Brita Goldie join Lorna and Kurtis to discuss their journey implementing Collaborative Response across all of their schools and the impact the work is having on students and staff. https://lnkd.in/gZxjbj9A #edleader #education #collaboration
