New blog on #EMFA! This time we analyse the concept of #pluralism. Here is a key idea, two different notions, and a pair of concerns: 💡 Pluralism regulation is for the first time applied to all media providers, including the #press. This assimilation creates an issue with the long-standing regulatory distinction between written and audiovisual media. ➡️ For non-public service media providers, EMFA opts for the notion of “external pluralism” (how plural the media market is). ➡️ For public service media providers, EMFA embraces“internal pluralism” (the diversity of content and viewpoints offered by a single media company). ⚠️ EMFA allows Member States to adopt more detailed rules for non-public service providers. Could this cause incompatibilities with EMFA? ⚠️ Which interpretation of #pluralism will prevail? If the first one does, EMFA's ambitions for media regulation (especially on pluralism) may need to be scaled back Read the full blog by #OttavioGrandinetti: https://lnkd.in/dkirX5t4

One of the most prominent examples of constructivism is the development of international human rights norms. The establishment of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) in 1948 marked a significant shift in global norms regarding individual rights and state responsibilities.’ One should critically analyze my assertion: international human rights norms are the blatant disregard of constructivism because it dismisses the cultural relativism so saying that constuctivism contributed to the development of human right norms is wrong
