#NationalRadioDay Geller Media International's Aircheck Criteria Are you: • Speaking conversationally, directly to each listener? Not reading? • Making smooth transitions? Are there "brick walls" between the elements, or does the presentation feel seamless? • Speaking visually? • Telling powerful stories? • Creating compelling content? • Using humor? Having fun? • Taking the audience on a journey? • Including authentic self-revelation? • Boring? Did anything go too long? • Taking risks? Are there any surprises?

"Where do young people have to go?" 🤔 We love this reflective question from UK Youth's CEO, Ndidi Okezie. Her recent TV interview really resonated with us at The Skills Spot. 📺✨ Third spaces play a crucial role in offering a break from the demands of work/school and home life. And these places have become more important as we've seen the lines become blurred for many due to the effects of multiple lockdowns, hybrid working, and the cost-of-living crisis. That's why our Open Access Space is a vital part of our support offering for young people. In the evenings, they can come in (for free) to socialise and hang out. 👫🏾💬 Why? Because everyone deserves access to safe spaces where they can just be. 🏠❤️ Want to learn more about our mission or support The Skills Spot? Visit our website and discover how you can help keep these essential spaces open for young people. 🙌 #youthwork #youngpeople #safespaces #thirdspaces #belonging #investinthefuture
Our CEO Ndidi Okezie was on BBC Sunday Morning Live yesterday discussing young people, national service and lowering the age to vote 🗳️ Watch the full episode here 👉🏻https://bit.ly/3yNi4HN

Very insightful segments…I can help your business engage with the conversation.
Many people tell me they consider our Morning Take segment with Blois Olson… “appointment listening.” He joins me every Monday through Thursday at 6:20am on Wcco Radio 830 Am. It’s a great way to get insight into the political scene and look ahead. Hope you can join us! You can listen on your radio or ask Alexa for 8-3-0 W-C-C-O!

20 minute interview with the effortlessly charming and yet deceptively thorough @SteveYabsley on @bbcradiobristol. He crams an extraordinary amount into a 20 minute consultation. I’m not sure I agree entirely with all my answers in the cold light of reflection, but I did my best. 1. Why are people still coming to your shows after 34 years of roughly the same material? 2. Do people ask you medical problems at your show and how do you respond? 3. What do you do if somebody collapses while you’re on stage? 4. Is there a Struck Off and Die Reunion on @BBCRadio4 next year? (Yes) 5. A tribute to Michael Mosley and all he achieved 6. Could we have managed the pandemic better? 7. Is the NHS really broken and how can it be fixed? 8. Should we outsource to private hospitals? 9. Should we move to a more Australian model of healthcare funding and provision where they seem to have better outcomes and you’re quite likely to see a UK trained doctor there? 10. What should we do about obesity? 11. Have we become too obsessed with our mental health? 12. Are warm relationships the key to health and happiness? 13. What do you mean by intelligent kindness? 14. Could the way we present expert scientific and statistical evidence to court be improved in the light of the Lucy Letby trial? 15. Can you give me more detail about your Edinburgh fringe shows? The link is https://lnkd.in/e3Kh5Q9t And I’m on at 3:20:30 Enjoy, and thank you Steve. Show details at www.drphilhammond.com
