Since coming into the school counseling profession, I've come to understand how important communication is for families and community stakeholders. When the pandemic hit, that in-person interaction was lost, due to the shelter-in-place order. But some wonderful Ed-Tech helped us stay in communication with students to help them over the uncertainty the pandemic brought. Remind I use Remind as a school counselor and even more now as a teacher of Peer Leadership. It makes it easy for students to reach me with questions (and last-minute requests for recommendation letters for college!) #EdTech #Education #K12Education

Navigating the complexities of leadership in early childhood education, we confront myriad challenges underscored by startling statistics. Did you know that 33% of early education leaders cite budget limitations as their top concern, compounded by the 40% who wrestle with the ever-evolving landscape of state regulations? Furthermore, a recent survey indicated that only about 30% of parents feel actively engaged in their child's early education. In the face of these obstacles, I'm convinced that collaborative dialogue is the key to unlocking resilience and innovation in our field. Share your experiences and let's delve into proactive solutions together at Clearly Education (www.clearlyeducation.com). Your contributions can shape the support we offer to educational environments just like yours. #EarlyChildhoodEducation #LeadershipChallenges #PreschoolManagement

Here's a great article from one of our partners: SchoolRIGHT, LLC Thanks to School Right for providing insightful thought leadership!
🎓 With school winding down and summer coming quickly a lot of school leaders are entering the evaluation phase - a space of reflection on how the year has gone and planning for the upcoming year. 🍎 School Right has provided an article that I think is really beneficial to school leaders in this season because it challenges them to be both honest about the current state of their school and filled with faith for God's ability to lead and guide them towards solutions. 🔰 It's a quick, inspiring read - go check it out here: https://lnkd.in/eRhFuCvd

It's an honor to say that I bring almost 25 years of experience to the education world! Now, the question becomes, "What made me stay there that long?" The short answer is the support of amazing instructional leaders. From principals to directors to associate superintendents, I must say that I have had some amazing examples of what to do well. That said, my passion for supporting educational organizations is fueled by my experience in the field. Happy #TeacherAppreciationWeek to teachers, but most importantly, to administrators who remove barriers to make room for their greatness! When I work with school across the nation, I leverage all of the moving parts to improve student achievement. We take a three-tiered approach: 1. Strategic Planning with Administrators 2. One-on-one coaching with school leaders 3. Whole staff professional learning with teachers My recent work with three schools within an urban district changed the trajectory of their school fate. In one year of working with my company, each school showed drastic growth, and the most mind-blowing was a school that ended the year in the top 5 compared to around the 25th of the previous year. This fostered what they already had without purchasing any additional curriculum or resources.
