Peer validation can come in many forms - from receiving feedback on your work, to having someone affirm your skills and capabilities, to simply having a sounding board for your ideas and goals. In a peer networking group, you can find like-minded individuals who understand the challenges you are facing and can provide valuable insights and support. Having peers validate your worth can also boost your confidence and self-esteem, which in turn can help you take on new challenges and opportunities. When you have a group of peers who believe in you and your abilities, it can give you the courage to pursue new roles, take on more responsibilities, or even make a lateral move to a new company where your skills are better appreciated. 2023 has been massive. And it’s ending on a high 🚀 It started with curiosity 🧠 My curiosity led me to nail the science of revenue-led growth with the GrowthX Immersion. Over the course of 5 weeks, I learnt the A → Z of growth frameworks for top internet products. Then, we applied 🔨 I was put into a group of like-minded growth crazy folks in Team Keka HR. I didn’t know it then, but it changed my trajectory. Over the next 3 weeks, we built a real-world applicable growth strategy for Keka HR Finally, showtime ⭐ Our growth strategy was solid, it got us into the Top 3 teams that pitched at the GX Demo Day. It was the experience of a lifetime. Presenting to a crowd of startup operators, leaders and founders while answering questions that grilled us. But, I couldn’t have done it without Gupil Bhutani Gautam Shah, CFA Sanjo K Mathew Kathan Desai Agam Malviya Sanu Krishnan Bhavin Mehta Akash Pavan✨ As 2023 concludes, One of the things I have treasured this year is the General Slack channel. Absolute gold. It's like this buzzing corner where we all geek out on real-world problems, throw ideas around, and come up with killer solutions. It's not your typical forum—it's a treasure of shared stories and lessons. I find myself standing at a new threshold. The bar has been raised, and the learnings from this year will undoubtedly shape my trajectory in the years to come. 2023 was a bar-raiser. 2024 will be exponential. 🌟 I recently posted about the highlights from TechCon SoCal 2024, but I just came across a write-up from our NuFund Venture Group member and host of our new podcast, Founders' Journey (link: https://lnkd.in/gxiSU77z) , Guy Reams. --- Guy has a remarkable commitment to writing every day for 365 days. His posts not only inspire but also make you think. I'm a fan. 📖✨ Guy shared insights from his interviews with some of the keynote speakers at TechCon. A standout theme was the idea that to accomplish extraordinary things in life, you can't follow the standard path. He observed that none of the successful individuals he interviewed were "normal" or average. Instead, they were audacious and unpredictable. To achieve greatness, one must be willing to deviate from the norm. 🛤️This is a critical lesson for early-stage founders. The path to success is rarely linear. It requires embracing uncertainty and relentlessly pursuing your passion, even when others predict failure. The willingness to do the unpredictable and accept risk is what sets apart those who achieve greatness from those who remain average.🌟 In the words of Guy Reams, 💡"Take the chance when you can because so rarely do you have the opportunity." 💡 #TechConSocal #Leadership #startupfounder https://lnkd.in/gTFKxmwV
