Imagine being the hope that changes a child’s life. Every day, children and youth in our community face challenges they shouldn’t have to face alone. At Durham Children’s Aid Foundation, we believe that every child deserves the chance to dream, grow, and succeed – and with your support, we can make that happen. Through our EmpowerED Futures program, you’re opening doors to education and skills development, providing a path to brighter tomorrows. With Holiday Hope, you help deliver joy and essential support to families during the festive season. Our Compassion in Action fund steps in during life’s toughest moments, while Camps for Kids offers every child the chance to explore, laugh, and just be a kid. By supporting our Human Trafficking Prevention and Recovery Support program, you’re offering a safe path forward for those who need it most. Your gift isn’t just support – it’s a lifeline, a spark, and a chance for these young people to see beyond their current circumstances. Be the reason a child feels seen, valued, and supported today. Together, we can transform lives. 💛 Learn how your support makes a difference: www.durhamcaf.ca #DurhamCAF #EmpowerYouth #TransformingLives #HopeInAction #MakeAnImpact

While many children throughout the country welcome to start of summer, for millions of families, summer can mean additional hardship. 14 million U.S. children -- one in five -- live in households that struggle against hunger, and we know that child hunger soars during the summer when traditional school meals are unavailable. As our Countdown to Summer giving campaign comes to an end, will you help Hunger Free America connect families in need with food? https://lnkd.in/e929GSXK

Following the tragedy in Enoch, UT, we worked with many businesses and nonprofit organizations to hand out Bi-Tapp kits to those in need. This included: Law Enforcement Officers, classrooms, individual students, teachers, neighbors and close friends of the family who were struggling with the impact of this tragedy. Bi-Tapp is a real time resource being used by all ages. When your stress/anxiety level is a 6 or higher (scale of 0-10), it becomes difficult, if not impossible to remember what to do to calm down. The tappers do the tapping for you, helping your calm down automatically. #regulationresource #bilateraltapping #anxietyrelief #traumarecovery
