An improperly executed ask for a referral is better than NO ask for a referral. My recommendation: Replace 1 of your upcoming cold call blitzes with a "referral blitz". You pipeline will (probably) thank you. Most reps think they gotta get referral asks perfect. Don't let perfect be the enemy of good.
