⚠️ Your instincts are telling you that recognizing people is important and there is data to back that up. Turnover is reduced by 31% with recognition practices in place. 😄 Acknowledgement and recognition work best when they are genuine and practiced fairly across all employees. Coming up with a system that is unique to your workplace will improve employee morale and help you keep your team together for the long haul and through tough times. 😉 Here are a few ideas of ways to recognize and acknowledge work that might feel good to you and your team: ✨ At the end of big projects, take time to congratulate the team that worked on it. ✨When your team has struggled through something and somehow pulled through, thank them for their dedication and perseverance. ✨Every so often ask the team, what are you (personally) proud of accomplishing? What are you proud that we (collectively) accomplished together? ✨Celebrate your employee’s work anniversaries by sharing the ways they have made an impact on your mission. If you’d like some support to create an employee recognition program that really speaks to your team, let’s work on this together, send me a message.

The Importance of Appreciating Your Team and Building Strong Bonds In the workplace, it's crucial to value your team and strengthen their relationships through appreciation and team building. These simple yet powerful practices can boost morale, increase productivity, and drive success. **1. Staff Appreciation** Showing gratitude and recognition for your team's hard work is key to keeping them motivated and engaged. Simple gestures like saying thank you, acknowledging achievements, and offering development opportunities can make a big difference. When employees feel appreciated, they are more likely to excel in their roles, leading to better performance and job satisfaction. **2. Team Building** Building strong relationships among team members is essential for effective collaboration and achieving common goals. Team building activities, such as workshops or outings, help foster trust, improve communication, and enhance teamwork. By investing in team building, organizations can create a sense of unity and camaraderie that leads to improved problem-solving skills and overall performance. In summary, by appreciating your team and investing in team building activities, you can create a positive work environment where employees feel valued, motivated, and connected. Joe Dyer's post, below, celebrating the great team at DISHER shows how important appreciation really is. We often talk about recognition, or commending an employee on a job well done, as essential for employee satisfaction, engagement and productivity. However, appreciation is about recognizing the qualities of the person rather than the quality of the job, which is something far more meaningful, and durable. #appreciationday #recognition #companyculture #employeeengagement #productivity #employeesatisfaction
Today is Employee Appreciation Day, and we want to express our sincere gratitude to every member of our team! We greatly value the diverse skill sets and creative energy that each person contributes at DISHER. We take pride in seeing everyone's dedicated efforts not only in serving our customers but also in supporting their coworkers and community.

Student of Universidade Europeia where I am deepening my knowledge in Sports Management with a strong interest in Management and Marketing.
It's inspiring to see the Boston Celtics emphasize teamwork, both on and off the court. Post about employee meetings really highlights teamwork and shows how the team is united on all fronts. It also shows that it's not just on the field of play that you win titles, but that it's also important to have a lot of hard work done outside the field to be a success franchise. This then influences the results in games, which have been positive when it comes to the Boston Celtics. What you think? #TeamWork #UEMStudyAbroadPT
Our team came together for an energizing employee meeting ☘️ We’re committed to aligning our goals, both on and off the court, and celebrating the moments that truly matter. Here’s to teamwork, collaboration, and a fantastic season ahead.
