FOLLOW-UP, FOLLOW-UP, FOLLOW-UP Whether you have monthly or quarterly starts, your level of success depends upon your level of follow-up. If you have been in admissions even for a short period of time, you know that just because someone enrolls, does not mean that they will start. This is why I always pre-schedule my follow-up calls with the applicant at the time of their enrollment. Depending how far away the start is, I schedule a weekly/monthly call. Here is what I say: “I have a personal policy, I require weekly/monthly check-in calls with all my accepted students. It only takes a few moments and if neither of us has a question or concern, we will just say a quick hello. So, what is the best day of the week/month for our calls and what time frame within that day works best?” To sum it up, when you get an enrollment, your work has just begun! Remember, your goal is not just to get an enrollment, but it’s to get a start.

Independent medical examiner - Consultant Psychiatrist with AMA and GEPIC qualifications. Company founder and director, CPD Formulations Pty Ltd
Happy Monday, I have my materials ready and bags almost packed to head to Sydney to deliver my full day MEQ and CEQ workshops. With the MEQ workshop FULL for Thursday 7th December 2023 and places available for the CEQ workshop on Friday 8th December 2023, this is my last shout out to fill those remaining spots. We will be holding both days at the offices of BluePrint Medical, in the heart of Sydney CBD. I'm still supporting trainees who were unsuccessful and have also received feedback. I stand by my belief that clinicians should be examined using clinical exams and not written ones. There are two inherent tasks for each exam, one is to learn how to write an essay and the other is how to answer a CEQ or MEQ. Both tasks need to be addressed for success, and different trainees find one task easier than the other. I get it. As a consultant psychiatrist, professional writer and exam coach I know how to help you with both tasks, in turn to help you get the job done. Please click on the link to register for the workshop and please share it amongst your networks if you have already been successful, and want a colleague to be successful as well! https://lnkd.in/gE_nYv99

With the significant educational reforms at present, awarding organisations are facing many and varied challenges, such as: - Adapting to new regulations and compliance requirements - Revising qualifications and assessment methods to align with the revised curriculum - The integration of technology in teaching, learning, and assessment - Ensuring quality assurance mechanisms are in place to monitor and maintain the standards of qualifications, especially if there are new or revised assessment criteria - Communicating changes to students, teachers, schools, and colleges - engaging with various stakeholders to gather feedback, address concerns, and ensure a smooth transition - Managing the transition period, ensuring that students and educational institutions understand the implications and have access to appropriate support and guidance It is important to recognise that implementing educational reforms often requires additional resources, including financial, human, and technological. From my discussions with numerous awarding organisations, I am acutely aware that the sector is facing challenges in securing adequate resources and building the necessary capacity to meet the demands of these reforms. As a specialist recruitment partner for educational roles within awarding organisations, I am keen and able to help - I have a significant existing network of highly experienced qualification and assessment developers and quality assurers that are available to help alleviate the workload that is resulting from these reforms on your existing teams.
