🌟 Stop Pushing Me 🌟 Push Notifications. That’s what they're called. Literally. In your phone. Push Notifications. I don’t know about you, but I don’t like having things pushed on me. I don’t want a pushy phone. I want a subservient phone. A butler phone. A phone that stays out of sight until summoned. But somehow, push notifications became the default. Does anybody need that much information from apps that didn’t even exist ten years ago? You know what never gave me anxiety growing up? My house phone. Notifications aren’t there to serve you; they exist to serve the app, to make sure it is used. Turn them off. All of them. Or, as many as you can muster. Go into your notifications section. For every app ask: ➡️ Do I NEED this notification? ➡️ Does it make my life better? ➡️ Can I try going without it for one week? You know what else you don’t need? Little red numbers telling you how many "notifications" you have. Your phone should not be a toddler yelling at you for attention.
