A core component to my consulting practice is being data driven. Gathering a holistic data set from key stakeholder groups and reflecting it back to them helps to generate collective intelligence and a felt sense of ownership of the current state. This clarity can be leveraged in a powerful way to help gain alignment in the design of the future state. Recently, I had the honor to facilitate a session with Bob Kaplan from Harvard Business School / E-liability Institute, with S1SEVEN | Digital matters. Neelam Sahar Mughal outlined UKRI’s Transforming Foundation Industries (TFI) Challenge, delivered by Innovate UK, EPSRC and ESRC: Economic and Social Research Council, and its efforts in strengthening cross industry collaboration. TFI have been working with innovators across different sectors, both in and out of the foundation industries, in creating innovative solutions. Innovative solutions like developing concrete blends with waste materials and strengthening components by adding graphene, are only a couple examples of what TFI have helped to advance through funding. Months and months of hard work are now paying off: the 9 EU Innovation Fund projects that we have been privileged to support and that have been selected for Grant Agreement Preparation add up to more than €685 million in funding. These projects are expected to lead to over 58M tCO2e GHG emissions reductions in the first 10 years of their operation! 🌍 A huge congratulations to our clients, who have shown the courage and vision to invest in clean technologies. A big complement to our experts from CiaoTech - Gruppo PNO, ARTTIC France, EGEN, PNO Chemistry and PNO Consultants Greece, PNO Consultants GmbH, PNO Innovation Belgium, PNO Consultants France and PNO Innovation (Portugal), who have latched onto these projects like no other with one goal: to accelerate their development and ensure they get funded through Innovation Fund.
