This initiative aims to provide crucial support to organisations in sectors like AI, Quantum technologies, semiconductors, and Synthetic Biology. Qualifying businesses (1 to 49 employees) will receive around 20 hours of remote support with an Advisor. This includes identifying and implementing improvements tailored to your organisation, followed by a technical verification of the 5 Cyber Essentials controls. OUR DIGITAL EARTH CAME TO A PAUSE. It was dated 19th of July 2024, nearly half the world looked back to paper and pencil after just a little update by a cybersecurity outfit messed everything up. #Crowdstrike did what no malicious hacker they are protecting us from could ever dream of doing. #Crowdstrike is the cybersecurity outfit of so many Fortune companies, and just last week some part of the digital world was brought to a pause. Except China and Russia two countries that never made the mistake of leaving their #Digitalsecurity in the hands of one organisation. Even India had to make plane ticket through manual book and paper means. This video might be funny, but I guess the world at large will learn a lesson from it when it comes to cybersecurity. P. Human error is a constant challenge in cybersecurity. Users may unknowingly connect to fraudulent Wi-Fi hotspots (rogue access points) disguised as legitimate ones, jeopardizing their Active Directory (AD) credentials. Even if the attacker cracks the Network Access Control (NAC), these stolen credentials can grant them access to your network. While this tactic might seem outdated, it's surprisingly successful in penetration testing (gray box testing), highlighting a critical security gap in many organizations. 😎

The global cyber threat continues to evolve at a rapid pace, with a rising number of data breaches each year. A report by RiskBased Security revealed that a shocking 7.9 billion records have been exposed by data breaches in the first nine months of 2019 alone. They are the three principles used to establish controls to reduce vulnerabilities, threats, and risks. Confidentiality helps to make sure data is kept secret or private. Integrity involves making sure your data is free from unauthorized changes. Availability means that the data is available when needed. It’s bad for business if the data is perfect but no one has access.

Tech is being piloted into every aspect of life and what is at the corner is data exposure or safety, information leakages or security and so on. It is only a beginning to what will hold firm in the future.
