Brilliant capture of all the amazing tech that is out there from Nick Thompson and Daniel Camilleri at Gitex last week. Even though I work with robots all the time, they never cease to amaze and amuse me. What fascinates me the most is the human-robot interaction. The emotional range can shift from delight to disturbed in seconds when something unexpected happens...like when a robot flattens itself and moves in a very insect-like way 🕷, stands on its hind legs, or starts talking back. Suddenly, it’s not so cute anymore! We will see more AI embodiment in robotics, and these interactions will continue to evolve and grow more complex. Interacting with a dog-shaped robot can feel like interacting with a real dog, especially when it is programmed to mimic endearing, animal-like behaviours. But what about a human-shaped robot? If you could choose one to have a conversation with 🤖 🐕 , which one would you choose and why? Both are friend-shaped!

#StartupCincy was a great place to host AI week this week - with the rise of AI use cases and solutions in and the home of #CPG (Procter & Gamble), #FoodAndBev (Kroger), eCommerce (CVG Airport - Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport / Amazon Prime Air Hub), #construction (Messer Construction Co.) and many of the areas our team at Render Capital invests in 🤖 👩💻 💸 The below picture was from when I was answering a question from a founder that asked "what do I do if #OpenAI just launched a feature that killed my #startup" - my candid and direct response was "Build a solution/product - not just a feature." Corporate buyers / purchasers are looking to buy solutions - not "features" I made this mistake MANY times before as a founder myself pitching all the "features" of my company. As solution builders startup founders need to get to "solution market fit" and not just be a feature creator. Thanks again to the whole Cincy AI Week crew for such a great week! 🚀

What a BeReal moment! Thank you, Peter Balogh, for inviting us to the portfolio party! It was great being at your place, participating, taking a break, partying together, meeting inspiring founders, and shaping this community together! It might seem unusual to figure out which role we're playing here. After all, Endre Varga and Laszlo Kesmarki are also founders of the DicomLab story, which STRT is an investor in, so we're part of the portfolio. At the same time, as White Unicorn, we are reviewing several startups together with Petya's team, especially in the medtech sector where we’re increasingly cooperating on various projects. Both WU and STRT have incubator programs, so in a way, we compete, but we’re much more about co-operating. We believe that in the long run, it's better to think together, build the next generation together, and jointly develop the entire innovation industry, so that everyone can enjoy the results. And it's not just talk—we actually do this in our daily work. Surprising, unconventional, strange? Maybe, but not for us. This is how we operate, and it’s worked pretty well so far! :)
