Who is responsible for defining the ROI of a cyber investment? The asset owners, not particularly the security leaders or vendors, are responsible for determining an equation that maps the (intended) returned value of their cybersecurity spend. They should be doing the same for safety, digitization, and training investments. Security leaders that invest in and maximize their partnership with operational site leaders will be far more successful over time.
