Neste Rotterdam project lift campaign completed! 🏗️ ⏳ We are pleased to report that in March our team at the Neste renewables refinery in Rotterdam completed on schedule a heavy lift campaign involving the installation of eight major columns. The most challenging lift of the campaign was the hydrotreating reactor, which weighs 700 tons and is 50 meters long. Preparation involved excavating 3,500m3 of soil – the affected area was equivalent in size to 28 soccer pitches! The Rotterdam Capacity Growth project will increase overall renewable production capacity at the plant by 1.3 million tons per year.
