Being an international is a kind of superpower. 🧚 It’s also one of life's significant challenges. I've worked hard to reach where I am now: -Investing countless hours in unpaid work during my limited free time -Attending networking events -Having multiple jobs while studying Unfortunately, my friends and classmates weren't as lucky and missed out on opportunities to kickstart their career journey after their studies. Hiring internationals can bring a wealth of diversity in skills and knowledge which are important for any company. 💪 Here's why internationals make great hires: ✨ They speak multiple languages. ✨ They take exams in a second language. ✨ They've studied in a new country. ✨ They've learned how to navigate new cultures and bureaucracies. ✨ They find resourceful ways to make friends. ✨ They build their careers without a local network. ✨ They work part-time to support themselves. ✨ And sometimes, they even send money back home. I've frequently pondered the idea of pursuing multiple careers simultaneously. The reality is, excelling in more than one field is entirely feasible.
